Here is a little bit about Val and Waves Hawaii Surf School

Val has surfed and traveled all over the world. She grew up in Southern California, and after high school left traveling and it changed her life and she never returned. Her travels have taken her to Fiji, Tahiti, New Zealand, Australia, S. Africa, Mocambique, Indonesia, Thailand, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, & Brazil. She has met so many amazing people and done so many unbelievable things and she wants to share her love of the ocean and traveling with you. Val moved to Hawaii 8 years ago from Australia, and fell in love with the islands. She taught surfing while on Maui and eventually took over the Surf School now called Waves Hawaii Surf School. Val runs Waves Hawaii and travels in the off seasons. She has been on the cover of  magazines here in Maui, in Transworld & Surfer Magazines, and does modeling shows in Maui for events. But her true passion is to travel and surf, meet new people, and explore this amazing world. Now Val and Billabong bring you expeirences of a lifetime.
